2.4.9 Do I need permission to include images in PowerPoint presentations which are to be made available via the Internet (or an intranet/VLE)?
If the copyright in both the images and the works contained
in those images has expired then you
do not need to obtain permission. (However, beware that some images, such as cartoon
characters, can be subject to other restrictions such as trade marks). Otherwise, permission is
required.
