Tomorrow's learning and research technology coming soon!
We’ve taken all the feedback we’ve received on CamTools, our idea of an intuitive way of creating online content, and our project on academic networking, and now we are blending it all into a powerful new next generation CamTools.
Academic networking will support and enhance the connections between people that are one of the key aspects of life and work at Cambridge.
Our new tools for content creation will give all our users the ability to create beautiful and rich content, whether it is to share with site members or the whole world, and to include “active” items such as polls, videos, and more.
CARET is truly at the forefront of Sakai development this year, and is collaborating with others in the Sakai community to develop Sakai 3 – we’ll be one of the first to get Sakai 3 into production for our users at the University of Cambridge, so this is a really exciting time for us all.
We’ll be sharing much more about this project as it develops, including examples of how you might use it to support your teaching, learning or research. Watch this space!
