The Archive
The archive contains documents relating to the evaluations shown (right) along with interviews with key participants in the original evaluations. While the archive has been structured on the basis of the originating evaluations, other collections and associations will be developed to reflect emerging themes and issues.
Each evaluation is represented in the archive by:
- A set of documents and other resources
- Transcripts of interviews with key participants in both plain text and RTF formats
- Video clips of selected sections of the interviews
- A 'walkthrough' about the project: an interpretative essay drawing on interviews and archive contents, with hyperlinks to the specific resources referenced
The archive is also searchable by author, title and abstract text; and also using the descriptive metadata vocabulary defined using SKOS (Simple Knowledge Organisation System). Where paper archives have been selectively ingressed, users can search either all resources (including those which have only metadata records) or only those which are downloadable or viewable. Resources are primarily stored as PDF and TIFF documents, with video stored as MPEG files and video captures as JPEG files.
